Cesar is a sweet gentleman that just wants some love, slow walks, and a soft place to snooze. His new foster parents called him their sweet little baby angel on day one because he has been very polite and sweet. Cesar really likes the water, so he is easy to bathe. He likes playing in his kiddie pool and splashing around. Cesar also really likes toys and often finds one to carry around. He’s a good eater and slept through the night even on his first day at his new foster. He takes treats politely and gently. He’s a really easy dog to have around. Cesar enjoys shorter slow walks, doesn’t pull, and likes to stop and smell the roses. Cesar’s ideal home is a quiet one where he can have some soft beds and lots of love.

In his old home, he previously lived with buddies Mary Jane and Bruiser, forming the house hippo version of the three musketeers. He doesn’t react to other dogs on walks and may be okay to live with another dog (other than his existing housemates) with proper introduction, but if you want to adopt all three house hippos together, they would think that was really awesome because they get along really well. They are also low energy and very sweet. For their large size, they are all surprisingly easy to care for because they are low energy and mostly just want to snooze, chew on toys, or splash in the water.
