To improve the lives of the animals in our care, be timely and compassionate in our responses, educate the public through community outreach and, provide for the health and safety of the citizens and animals of Ventura County.
Madlyn is the last of ten babies born to Ventura County Animal Services' alum Doodle. Doodle gave birth to 10 babies the day after she arrived at the shelter nearly two years ago. All of those babies were hand raised in foster care until they were old enough to be spayed and neutered and made available for adoption. Black bunnies like Madlyn often take longer to get adopted than those with more varied coloring, and Madlyn has patiently waited since January of 2017 for a home of her own Madlyn can come across as shy, which can also deter adopters, but she is a mellow girl who is tidy with her litter box and easygoing with shelter volunteers and visitors who take the time to meet her. Please visit VCAS at 600 Aviation Drive in Camarillo and ask for ID #A646315 to meet Madlyn.
